How to Withdraw Your Complaint with the MPCC
- Form Submission: If you want to withdraw your complaint with the Military Police Complaints Commission of Canada (MPCC), you can use this form. Alternatively, you can email your request to the MPCC Chairperson at commission@mpcc-cppm.gc.ca.
- Notification: After we receive and review your form, we will send you an official confirmation of your complaint withdrawal. We will also inform the Canadian Forces Provost Marshal and the person(s) you complained about.
- Important Note: Once you withdraw a complaint, you cannot reactivate it or submit a new complaint about the same issue in the future.
- Public Interest Investigation/Hearing: If the Chairperson has called a Public Interest Investigation or Hearing, the Chairperson may decide to continue it regardless of your withdrawal request.
- Privacy: The personal information you provide is protected under the Privacy Act and will be used and disclosed only in accordance with the Privacy Act and the Access to Information Act.
