Fynes Public Interest Hearing (MPCC 2011-004) - Notice of Hearing

In the matter of a conduct complaint under section 250.18 of the National Defence Act by Mr. Shaun Fynes and Mrs. Sheila Fynes and pursuant to subsection 250.43(1) of the National Defence Act, the Military Police Complaints Commission will conduct a Case Conference in the City of Ottawa in the province of Ontario, at 270 Albert Street, 10^th Floor, on January 17, 2012 at 10:00 AM.

The following issues will be addressed at the Case Conference:

• Update on Hearing preparation process;
• Request by counsel for the complainants, Col (ret’d) Drapeau, for a postponement of the date set for the commencement of the Hearing pending receipt of a response respecting the funding recommendation;
• Subject to prior notice to the Commission and to all Parties or by Motion to the Commission with proper notice, such further pre-hearing issues as may be identified by the Commission or by the Parties may also be dealt with.
